What is Brainspotting?

Brainspotting is a therapeutic approach designed to help people identify, process, and work through difficult emotions, experiences, and memories.

During Brainspotting, we use your visual field to help identify a “brainspot” — an eye position that may be connected with emotional or physical responses related to what you are working on.

Brainspotting may be used to address concerns such as:

• Trauma and distressing experiences
• Anxiety and emotional overwhelm
• Grief and loss
• Stress
• Difficult or painful memories
• Emotional triggers

Sessions are individualized, and you remain in control of what you choose to explore and share throughout the process.

I have completed multiple Brainspotting trainings and may incorporate Brainspotting into therapy when it is appropriate for your individual needs and treatment goals.
